MY GO-TO TINTED MOISTURIZER

MY GO-TO TINTED MOISTURIZER

Hey Loves!

Everyone is becoming more comfortable being in their own skin. Whether it’s showing off their freckles, wearing less makeup, being proud of their natural hair, etc, it’s become a trend to be proud of who/what you naturally have.

As I mentioned in my previous post, I have combination skin, so it’s hard to find a foundation and/or tinted moisturizer that works for me. I dislike putting foundation because it always felt heavy on my skin, so I decided to try tinted moisturizers; not to heavy, breathable, and the right amount of coverage.

I originally wanted to try Bare Mineral’s Complexion Rescue Tinted Moisturizer at first, but no surprise here, the shades they have available looked ashy on me.

Next stop, Lancôme. Lancôme has always been a favorite of mine, the products seem to work right with my skin. I didn’t know they had a line of tinted moisturizers until my Ulta visit.

I found my exact shade in Lancôme’s Skin Feels Good Hydrating Skin Tint (Sunny Amber). It has become my go-to for days where I don’t want anything heavy on my face, has SPF, gives a slight glow, and can be removed without a hassle.

Lancôme Skin Feel Good

What it is:

A hydrating skin tint for the “no-makeup makeup” look, infused with skin-loving ingredients that puts your skin first with sheer to buildable natural coverage

My shade:

Sunny Amber

Coverage:

Medium

Does it last?

It’s a tinted moisturizer, so of course it won’t last all day

Finish:

Dewy; a nice glow without looking like an oil ball

I apply the tinted moisturizer like I would with regular foundation

Application:

I apply the tinted moisturizer like I would with regular foundation

  • Covergirl bronzer (had it for years)
  • Set face with MAC Mineralize Skin-Finish Natural Powder (dark deepest)
