Did anyone else know there was a French restaurant in Brickell? Well, neither did I.
La Petite Maison is an upscale French-Mediterranean restaurant located on Brickell Bay Drive. Honestly, if you’re not searching for it, you would never know it’s there. I dined at the restaurant last Friday night, and the food is so light, and delicious, you won’t feel guilty for ordering more food.
The restaurant is on the expensive side, so dine at your own risk!
When you enter the restaurant the walls are filled with amazing artwork and the bar is pretty amazing to look at
I started off with the Carpaccio of Sériole, Escargot (I told myself I would NEVER eat snail) which included snails in fresh herbs and garlic butter; and the Pissaladiere (this was a little sweet for me) which were all Magnifico!
Main course included the Lamb Cutlets, Risotto aux Chanterelles et Petits Pois Frais, and Iberico Presa Grillé with sauce Chimichurri.
Ended the night with some Cheesecake (apparently the most famous dessert on the menu)
I recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for authentic French cuisine, something light, but not if you’re on a budget.
